When I was in third grade, I had wanted Mrs. Hangler as my next teacher. My year flew by and on the last day of school, I found out my teacher was going to be Mrs. Wressler. Bummed beyond words, I spent the summer dreading the next year. Then, the first day of fourth grade, I learned how wonderful Mrs. Wressler was and, to this day, she is still my favorite teacher. She inspired me to write and chase my dream of becoming an author.
The Creative Coalition’s Teachers Making A Difference Luncheon is an event that celebrates teachers and the magic they seem to share with children. They are responsible for educating our youth and molding the minds of kids who will grow up to be doctors, politicians, chefs, engineers, and even writers.
